whenever you take a long time off from doing your thing it's a bitch get'n back to it. especially when you're just plain uninspired. and really it's not for lack of inspiration but the fact that sometimes you assume that since this is what you've done and feel comfortable at that this is all there is. as annoyed as i am with all these kids here who do nothing but anime i'm not much better since i've killed my own growth for the past couple years just sticking to my bland brand of candy-coated, washed out trash-art. but fact is- i haven't had much room to grow in any area of my life the last couple years and hope that changes soon. i guess what i'm try'n to say with all this is: i need to grow up a bit. not just cause of the kind of art i do- but more cause of how i do it.
